Meet Projenta AI: Your Always-On Project Assistant

Starting today, every Projenta account has access to Projenta AI — a floating chat assistant powered by Claude that's available on every page of the product. This isn't a bolt-on chatbot that answers generic questions. It's a context-aware assistant that knows your workspace and can take real action inside it.

What it can do

Projenta AI handles the operational work that eats up your day. You can create a project, add tasks, log a RAID item, define a goal, or draft and publish a status report — all from a single text prompt. Bulk updates work too: "Move all tasks in the Design phase to In Review" executes instantly. If you're not sure how something works, just ask — Projenta AI can walk you through any feature in the product.

Some examples of what you can type today:

• "Log a new risk: third-party API deprecation, high likelihood, medium impact"
• "Draft this week's status report for the Q3 Marketing Campaign"

Why we built it this way

Most AI features in project tools are cosmetic. They summarize text or suggest tags, and then they stop. We wanted something that actually reduces the friction between having a thought and capturing it in the right place. The floating widget stays out of your way until you need it, and because it's present on every page — your task board, your RAID log, your portfolio view — it always has the right context for what you're looking at.

Projenta AI runs on Claude, Anthropic's model known for careful, precise reasoning. That matters here: project management data is structured and consequential. When you ask the AI to update a task or publish a report, accuracy isn't optional. Claude handles ambiguous instructions well and asks for clarification rather than guessing when intent isn't clear.

How to get started

The chat widget is in the bottom-right corner of every page. It's on for all plans — no settings to toggle. Start with something small: create a task, ask a how-to question, or have it draft a status report you were going to write anyway. The more specific your prompt, the better the output, but the assistant handles conversational back-and-forth if you want to refine things step by step.

We'll be expanding what Projenta AI can do over the coming weeks, including smarter suggestions based on project health signals and the ability to query your data ("Which projects are behind schedule?"). Stay tuned.
